Ella Enchanted Book Review
By Katie Caceres
As a rebellious kind of person, I fully sympathise with poor Ella, the main character of Ella Enchanted. In a new twist on the classic Cinderella story, the ‘Cinderella’ is cursed to obey every single order she’s given. To understand the severity of this ordeal, if someone told her to cut off her own head, she’d have to. Compounded with these issues, she is in love with the prince, and he could or could not be in love with her (essentially boy issues), but she is worried that there could be enemies of the state who would use her to sabotage the kingdom, and to make things worse, her step-family is abusive and cruel. Overall, this book is one of the best books I’ve ever read and I read a lot; I go through about three novels a week. But seriously, this is really good.
