by: Fiona Baxter
It’s that time of the year again: Mini Olympics is coming up on Friday, May 20th. Are you excited? I sure am! The Eighth Graders have come up with lots of new games for you to play. You will be assigned a team to play on. That team will be either red, white, or blue. On Friday, wear the colors of your team. If you are on the blue team, wear blue clothes, if you are on the white team, wear white clothes. Then once you are called, your class will head out to play. Have fun playing all the awesome games!

Remember, you need to bring a filing fee of $4 to participate and get an application! Following that, the Primary Elections are on Friday, April 29th and the results will be announced that afternoon. Campaign Day, when the General Elections candidates and their campaign manager do their best to tell others why they should vote for them while passing out stickers, is Monday, May 2nd. General Elections Candidates Rehearsal will also be on Monday, May 2nd. Finally, the big day, General elections, will be on Tuesday, May 3rd, when the candidates give their speeches to the whole school! The results will be announced that afternoon.
